40 years in the territory

Celebrating Good

For 40 years, the Australia Day Council NT has recognised Territorians who make a difference by Doing Good.

In the NT, impact isn’t about headlines. It’s about showing up. In small towns, remote communities and neighbourhoods, difference isn’t flashy. It’s consistent. It’s local. It’s personal. Recognition here isn’t about fame. It’s about connection to community.

Celebrating Good is a campaign developed by the Australia Day Council Northern Territory to showcase the different ways people are doing good across the Territory, and offering opportunities to recognise them through the Awards programs they manage.

How can we recognise

Doing Good

If you know someone who does good, champions good, celebrates good and is an all round good Territorian, nominate them! The Australia Day Council NT supports nominations across three main awards programs. You can find out more by clicking on them below.

What does

Doing Good Mean?

We asked some of our Northern Territory Alumni exactly that! Find out below a little more about what Celebrating Good is like in the Territory and follow us on social media as we continue to Celebrate Good from the last 40 years!
